OAKLAND, Calif. Ultra Boost Baratas España . -- With one sterling half, Peyton Manning accomplished all he needed to in the regular-season finale by seizing another prestigious record and home-field advantage in the playoffs. He knows his next time out probably wont be so easy. Manning set the NFL single-season record for yards passing and threw four first-half touchdown passes to clinch the top seed in the AFC playoffs for the Broncos with a 34-14 victory over Oakland on Sunday. "This was a good game today," Manning said. "We needed this win. We needed to improve on some things. The coaches challenged us in a couple of areas and I think we responded to those challenges." The Broncos (13-3) were nearly perfect in building a 31-0 halftime lead before coach John Fox gave Manning and some other regulars the second half off to rest for the first playoff game two weeks from now in Denver. Manning threw touchdown passes to Eric Decker and Knowshon Moreno in the first quarter and added two to Demaryius Thomas in the second quarter. He broke Drew Brees record of 5,476 yards set in 2011 with a 5-yard pass to Thomas with 13 seconds left in the half to make it 31-0. That ended Mannings day having completed 25 of 28 passes for 266 yards. He finished the season with 5,477 yards and 55 touchdown passes. "The first half was about as good in all three phases as weve been all year," coach John Fox said. "It allowed us to get some guys out of the game and rest them and still take care of business on the field." The Raiders (4-12) ended their 11th straight non-winning season with six consecutive losses and big questions about the future of second-year coach Dennis Allen. Oakland has won eight games in Allens two seasons but after showing signs of progress early this season, regressed down the stretch to put his job in jeopardy. Allen said he expects to meet in the next few days with general manager Reggie McKenzie and owner Mark Davis to discuss the future of the organization. "Thats a decision thats made over my head," Allen said. "I fully expect to be back. I fully believe that I deserve the opportunity to come back here and get a chance to go through the reconstruction phase. I want to be part of the rebuilding phase." The Raiders, who allowed the second most points in franchise history, were completely exposed by Manning. He frequently targeted fill-in cornerback Chimdi Chekwa, who started for the injured Mike Jenkins. The Broncos forced a punt on the opening possession and then easily drove down the field. Manning completed eight of nine passes for 70 yards on the 12-play drive, capping it with a 3-yard pass to Decker. A bad snap by Stefen Wisniewski on the first play of the next drive set up a 7-yard TD pass to Moreno and the rout was on. Oakland held Manning to a field goal early in the second quarter before he beat them deep with a 63-yard pass to Thomas to make it 24-0 and then methodically led a late drive down field that was capped with the short throw to Thomas that broke Brees record and earned Manning some rest in the second half. "I feel like its a record every other week," Thomas said. "Its great to be a part of, to get it. We just have to sit back and talk about it but our main goal is to win the Super Bowl. Its a good accomplishment for our offence. The main thing now is being able to win." Brock Osweiler played the entire second half in his most extensive action of his two-year career. He completed 9 for 13 passes for 85 yards but only led Denver to one field goal The decision to go back to Terrelle Pryor at starting quarterback after six games with Matt McGloin failed to provide the spark Allen had been seeking. Pryor looked rusty in his return to the lineup, missing receivers and having little room to run on read-option plays and scrambles. Pryor completed 21 of 38 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns after the game was out of reach. Pryor also ran for 49 yards to give him 576 yards rushing for the season, breaking Rich Gannons franchise mark of 529 for quarterbacks set in 2000. "I would say Im inconsistent," Pryor said. "Period. I got to get better." The Raiders couldnt even capitalize on their one good chance as Sebastian Janikowski missed his ninth field goal of the season after blocked punt by Jamize Olawale gave Oakland the ball at the Denver 24. NOTES: Broncos S Duke Ihenacho left the game with a concussion. ... The Raiders had about 45 members of the 1983 team that won the Super Bowl on hand for a halftime ceremony. Ultra Boost España . Price was hurt at the start of Wednesdays practice after facing just one shot as the team worked on their power play. He left the ice in discomfort and appeared to be favouring his leg. A Habs source told TSNs John Lu that Price suffered the injury in Sochi and not before the Olympics. Ultra Boost Baratas Online . It was the most lopsided loss in Lakers history. Darren Collison had a team-high 24 points while starting at shooting guard for the injured Jamal Crawford. Chris Paul added 13 points and 11 assists for the Clippers, who apparently are trying to make up for decades of humiliation at the hands of the Lakers all in one season; theyve won the last two meetings by a combined 84 points. http://www.ultraboostbaratas.es/ . Speaking on Leafs Lunch with Bryan Hayes and Jamie McLennan on Thursday, Bernier said it was "very hard" at times being entrenched behind Jonathan Quick and is now excited at the prospect of getting an opportunity to compete with Reimer for the top spot with the Leafs.DENVER -- For one night, Charlie Culberson looked a little bit like the shortstop hes trying to replace. He had the power of Troy Tulowitzki and the nifty moves, too -- jumping out of the way of a shattered bat fragment to cleanly field a grounder. "Not Tulowitzki," cautioned Culberson, "but if they put (me) in the lineup, Ill be ready to play." Culberson hit his first homer in more than a month -- a three-run shot in the fifth -- and Jorge De La Rosa pitched seven effective innings to lift the Colorado Rockies over the Cincinnati Reds 7-3 on Thursday. With Tulowitzki set for season-ending hip surgery Friday, Culberson and Josh Rutledge figure to receive plenty of playing time at shortstop. Culberson definitely made the most of his opportunity Thursday. "Tulo is our guy," Culberson said. "And shortstop is a big spot to fill. ... I feel like both us can go out there and fill in." De La Rosa (12-8) allowed three runs and five hits as he improved to 8-2 at Coors Field this season. Not bad considering he tweaked his Achilles running to first in the second inning. But he came back out to pitch and didnt miss a beat. "It was bothering me a little bit," De La Rosa said. "But I was able to keep pitching in pain. Well take care of that before my next start." Reds All-Star Alfredo Simon (12-8) is winless in six starts since the break. He allowed seven runs -- five earned -- and a season-high 10 hits in five innings. "He made some mistakes and they hit it hard," Reds manager Bryan Price said. "Its just a matter of executing better pitches and having a better mix of pitches." Culberson broke the game open by lacing a 95 mph fastball from Simon into the left-field bleachers. It was his first homer since June 29. The shortstop also flashed his fielding prowess by sidestepping a piece of Todd Fraziers broken bat to field the ball and throw out Frazier byy a few steps. Ultra Boost España Baratas. "The bat went further than the ball," Culberson said. "Those things happen. Just got to roll with it." Charlie Blackmon broke a 2-all tie in the fourth when he drove in a run on a groundout. Drew Stubbs followed with an RBI single against his former team. Both runs were unearned after Simon threw the ball away trying to turn a double play. "Its good to see some things we did offensively, that weve been struggling to do," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. CARGO DONE FOR SEASON Shortly after the game, the Rockies announced that outfielder Carlos Gonzalez will have season-ending surgery on his left knee Monday. Its been an injury-riddled year for Gonzalez, who is on the disabled list with not only an aching left knee but a sprained right ankle. He was out earlier this season after doctors found and removed a small tumour in his left index finger. BACK ON TRACK Ryan Ludwick was hitless in his last 13 at-bats before breaking out with an RBI double in the second. He added a solo homer in the sixth off De La Rosa that landed near the top of the stands in left. "Today, I just happened to think along with him," Ludwick said. "Lucky guess." TRAINERS ROOM Reds: RHP Homer Bailey is headed to the disabled list with a strained elbow. Price said he will announce a starter to take Baileys spot in the rotation Friday. Theres no timetable for Baileys return. Rockies: OF Michael Cuddyer (broken left shoulder) could be back in the lineup Saturday. The reigning NL batting champ has been on the DL since early June. UP NEXT Reds: RHP Johnny Cueto (14-6, 2.05 ERA) can take over the NL lead in wins by beating the Rockies on Friday. Cueto is 6-0 in seven starts since losing at San Diego on July 2. Rockies: LHP Franklin Morales (5-6, 4.97) will make his first career start against the Reds. Hes faced them five times as a reliever, going 2-0 with two saves. ' ' '
